Japan School News is an online portal filled with news stories about international schools, parenting and education issues in Japan.
It contains a directory of international schools in Japan and offers school’s an opportunity to announce their achievements and successes with a wider audience.
JSN was launched in May 2010 as print-based media by British entrepreneur Caroline Pover. In Dec 2014 ownership was transferred to Mojoworks KK, the people behind Kansai Scene Magazine and the printing and design service Mojoprint.
In April 2016, the final print edition was released and JSN is now published exclusively online, with content released both on this website and through JSN social media channels, including Facebook and Twitter.
For Schools
Submit your School News
Schools are encouraged to submit their self-authored ‘school news’, totally free of charge, for publication on JapanSchoolNews.com. We welcome news about your inspirational events, fundraising drive, sports successes, community outreach activities and so on. However, since we also offer sponsored posts and display ads, there are certain submission requirements that must be satisfied to qualify for this free service (see opposite).
Submissions can be made 24/7 directly through the website.
