Accreditation
Kyoto International University Academy (KIUA) is a private international school accredited by the Association of Christian School International (ACSI) and recognized by the Japanese Ministry of Education for high school.

Programs
KIUA offers an Advanced college preparatory education based on the American model, with core courses taught in both English and Japanese. For Junior and Seniors college dual enrollment courses are offered via Kyoto International University. A standard high school diploma and a Bilingual high school diploma are offered.

Students
The study body is made of international students (from about 16 different countries), bicultural students, and Japanese nationals (including returnees).The current enrollment is approximately 210.
