Christian Academy in Japan
Christian Academy in Japan was established in 1950 to provide Christ-centered education to the children of evangelical missionaries. While continuing in this purpose, CAJ also serves many other families who desire this type of education for their children. CAJ is committed to equipping students to serve Japan and the world for Christ.
Our program is communicated in the English language and is based upon an American approach which uses United States educational standards, course sequences and options (college preparatory and career), instructional materials, standardized tests, educational research, and cocurricular activities.
We have been fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges since 1976. We are affiliated with the Association of Christian Schools International and Christian Schools International and the East Asia Regional Council of Overseas Schools.
Christian Academy in Japan is sponsored by six missions:
Christian Reformed World Missions
Evangelical Covenant Church Board of World Missions
One Mission Society (OMS)
SEND International
The Evangelical Alliance Mission (TEAM)
