At Ivy Prep the kids celebrated Earth Day with fun and educational activities that the teachers planned in order to learn the importance of keeping the Earth healthy and how to take care of the environment with small actions that can make a difference. They had a science project about knowing the parts of a tree and planting their own sunflower seeds. They keep watering them every day and it is very rewarding for them seeing how their seeds grow and become beautiful plants that will give us clean air to breathe.
