Students from Sullivans Elementary School and Ikego Elementary School enjoy a variety of activities on May 08, 2015 at the 13th Annual International Multiple Intelligence Festival (Mime) held at multiple locations around Yokosuka Naval Base in Yokosuka, Japan. The Mime Festival, as it is locally known, is an international Festival that celebrates the theory of Multiple Intelligences introduced by Dr. Howard Gardner of Harvard University. Presenters at the Festival include local Japanese Nationals, U.S. Navy Sailors and units, parent volunteers, professional entertainers and Sullivans teachers. Students learn about wall climbing, robotics, Polynesian dance, Japanese origami, Improvisational theater, bookbinding, ikebana and more.
