This month the St. Alban’s Nursery community will be enjoying the Japanese autumn, with plenty of outdoor play while discovering seasonal treasures and making lots of fun crafts.
Teachers will introduce Thanksgiving and Christmas, and teach children the meanings behind these celebrations. Children will participate in a Thanksgiving play, where some of them will be pilgrims, and some will be Native Americans, and they will build a replica of the Mayflower.
After completing this, they will straight away begin rehearsing for the nativity play to be held on December 12. — GILMA YAMAMOTO-COPELAND
