After an incredible summer season at Nanbo Discovery Camp in Chikura, with 138 campers in five sessions, staff are already thinking about their English language winter ski and snowboard camps in the mountains of Shiga Kogen, Nagano.
The 2014–15 winter season will be Discover Japan’s 31st year of family ski trips and winter camps for children. The four-day, three-night camps allow beginners to learn in a safe environment, and children with experience will see their skills and confidence increase with our professional instructors. Camp 1 runs from December 19–22, and Camp 2 from January 2–5.
Videos, bingo, games, sledding, and other activities are available after skiing and in the evening. The lodge is high up on Yokote-yama, providing ski-in/ski-out comfort and ease.
