On Thursday, 19 June, Jingumae International Exchange School (JIES) students presented “Attitudes To Learn By,” a celebration of their learning in this year’s final unit of inquiry, the theme of organizing oneself.
In addition to riveting performances by the after-school program dance groups, each class chose an attitude from the Learner Profile on which to create a performance based on their inquiries. Everyone enjoyed the dancing, drama, music, graphic design, and speeches, as well as other entertainment, before wishing farewell to the graduating sixth graders. The graduating students expressed their appreciation to the school community and the audience enjoyed a memory-filled slideshow and farewell video.
