International School of the Sacred Heart (ISSH) will hold its annual Family Festival on Saturday, April 26 in Hiroo. This year’s theme, “Olympics,” celebrates Tokyo’s winning the hosting rights to the 2020 Summer Olympics. The event will highlight the many nationalities and cultures that make the Olympics and Tokyo so vibrant. Visitors of all ages can enjoy international food booths featuring authentic cuisine from many countries, musical and dance performances, carnival games, a shopping bazaar, a raffle for exciting prizes, and more.
The festival will be held from 10am–4pm, rain or shine, at the ISSH campus near Hiroo station. Entrance is free of charge. Tickets will be sold to redeem for food, drinks, and games. Raffle ticket sales are currently available and will continue to 3pm on the day of the event, when winning tickets will be drawn. Prizes have been donated by generous corporate sponsors.
Proceeds will be used for educational programs at ISSH, as well as for charities in Japan and overseas supporting the healthcare and education of underprivileged children.
