Cezars Kitchen got into the Halloween spirit with the students of Aoba-Japan International School Hikarigaoka campus, when Chef Dario worked closely with them to design and create their own jack-o-lanterns.
Dario showed the students the professional techniques for removing seeds and carving pumpkins, and in total the students designed more than 20 jack-o-lanterns. The lanterns were paraded around the school as part of Aoba’s Halloween celebrations.
Chef Dario said, given that he is usually in the kitchen, it was a great opportunity to spend time with the children, and to be able encourage and support them in their creative endeavours. — GREGORY FERRIS
