Horizon Japan International School (HJIS) students recently participated in Earth Festa Kanagawa, an annual event celebrating various cultures in Japan, that was held on May 12–13 at the Kanagawa Chikyu Shimin Plaza (Earth Plaza).
HJIS secondary students worked tirelessly to complete a beautiful, well-designed poster for display at the event. Each letter of “HJIS” contains different pictures that are separated into four different categories (after-school program, students, internationalism, and sports). The multitude of images shows a school with a positive approach toward intercultural experiences, and students who are truly “Caring and Courageous.”
