Saturday October 8 is set for LiVEJAM’s next student recital, called “JAMOUT!” Since its inception last summer, this will be Vol. 4 of the series for LiVEJAM, a music school dedicated to teenagers. This will be the first time a JAMOUT! is held on a Saturday night. Doors open at 6pm at live hall “Kiwa,” previously known as “Pink Noise.”
About ten groups are expected to perform, ranging in size from a duet to a band with six members. With new students constantly joining LiVEJAM, about a quarter of the performers will be making their JAMOUT! debut at this recital.
Says Director Ken Takagi, “The key feature of Vol. 4 is ‘Fusion of Cultures,’ where there is much more collaboration between international and local Japanese students. LiVEJAM is really starting to come together as a place where teenagers of all backgrounds meet and work toward common dreams.”
