The jolly Christmas atmosphere was all over Treehouse Montessori School last year!
Jingle bells, Santa Claus, Christmas trees, presents, snowmen, and Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer were some of the Christmas traditions that filled the classroom with joy.
In this gleeful atmosphere, the children at Treehouse spent a month practising hard for the annual holiday performance, held in Yokohama on December 10. On the night before the performance, teachers decorated the stage, displaying the children’s seasonal arts and crafts, and filling the hallways with the children’s impressions of Christmas. The venue was almost mistaken for an art gallery!
The performance went well, reflecting all the effort that staff and students alike had put into the preparations. Parents clapped along as they shared their children’s happiness and admired the excellent performances. The show was followed by a delicious four-course meal, and each child received lots of Christmas goodies!
