Tokyo Association of International Preschools (TAIP) would like to wish a very Happy New Year to all its members and associates.
Last year TAIP celebrated its fifth anniversary while increasing its membership and continuing its efforts to help all member schools and associates. Staff development, parent education, networking, and publicity will continue to be the backbone of TAIP’s mission in 2011.
TAIP’s most recent educational event was a workshop for directors entitled “An Active Introduction to Appreciative Inquiry: A Framework for Positive Change,” facilitated by Sherry Miller on November 29.
Participants shared what is at the heart of their schools, and were encouraged to dream about what they wanted for their educational environments, and then invited to collaborate on developing ideas for making those dreams realities.
