Old news, but not forgotten; last May, New International School hosted the Yale University Cappella Choir, and arranged home stays for all 17 of them for ten days. The group performed for the whole school, had sessions with different age ranges of children, and finally sang with all of the children from the ages of 4 to 15 years, to the delight of all. Upcoming news—New International School is holding an orientation session on August 26, from 9–10:30am, a few days before the start of the new school year, and its first seminar of the new school year will be on September 16, from 8:45–10:15am, on the topic “The Hows and Whys of Dual Language Education.” Both events are open to the community. Interested parties are asked to call 03-3980-1057 to confirm attendance. A list of subsequent orientations and seminars will be available on the school’s website at http://newinternationalschool.com.
